For an average 4-5kg cat, use 1 capsule per day. It’s easy to feed – just split the capsule and sprinkle the tasty supplement over your cat’s food.
We recommend that you double the daily amount for the first 4 – 6 weeks, to make sure your four legged fur ball begins to see the benefits as soon as possible.

These are really effective. My cat is a rescue we adopted a few months ago who had been found with an infected broken leg. We wanted a natural supplement to help with his mobility and this has been really effective.

Below are some recent questions we've received regarding YuMOVE Joint Care for All Cats, including answers from our team.

I feed my cat on dried food only how would you recommend feeding this? Would it work sprinkled on dry food?
This can be sprinkled onto dry food if there is a sufficient amount. You may wish to wet the dry food slightly to ensure it sticks to the supplement.
Alternatively you can give some wet food as a treat with the supplement mixed in.
I recommend checking out Joint Force Chews if you are struggling with the above, these can be given as a treat.

I take iMove myself (and I swear by it, thanks so much). I think of yuMove are basically the same thing. Would it be safe to crush one iMove tablet and offer a *tiny* portion of it to my cat, to see her reaction? I'd like if possible to be sure she likes the taste before spending any money!
The two products contain similar ingredients however the concentration of ingredients within are very diffierent. It is strongly not advised to do this, you are very likely to overdose your cat in trying this. It is advised to only give the cat specific version of YuMove to your cat.

hello, is this or any other joint supplement available on viovet suitable for parrots with arthritis? Thank you
Unfortunately this product is only intended for use in cats, any use in other species could be safe but it is unknown what the full effects would be. We recommend contacting your local avian vet for information on what supplements would be safe to purchase. Unfortunately there are no bird specific joint supplements on the market.

My cat is 8kg! Yes he’s a little overweight but he’s also just big, should probably weigh 6.5. He’s only 6 years old with very mild signs so I was going to start on 1 capsule daily, but could he go up to 2 capsules as he gets older?
Yes you are correct. As your cat is between 5-10kg we would recommend to give 2 capsules per day.

My cat is only 6 years old - would this help to prevent issues as he gets older if I start giving it to him now.
Joint supplements are a great idea to help support the joint and provide the right nutrients for joint repair. Unfortunately no joint supplements have been studied for prevention so it is unknown whether they definitely prevent joint disease, however the ingedients are essential for normal joint repair and so theoretically will reduce the chance of joint diease progressing. Many pets will have subclinical joint disease, that is they have an issue but are not showing signs. Joint supplements will support this.

Hi WILL IT BE SAFE TO USE DEVILS CLAW ALONG SIDE YOUMOVE FOR CATS?
REGARDS
Yes YuMove can be safely used alongside Devils claw. You should discuss with your vet before using Devils claw alongside any medications though if your cat is on any.

Are there any side effects my cat is very listless
There are no listed side effects for YuMove as it is a supplement and licensed similarly to food. As with any food your pet can have an intolerance/allergy to the ingredients, this usually shows as vomiting/diarrhoea or skin problems. Lethargy is not a listed side effect and is likely unrelated to the YuMove and more likely related to the joint disease you are treating with YuMove.

Is it alright to empty the capsule contents onto food? My elderly cat does not take pills easily, or at all!
Hi Janet,
Yes, the tablet is intended for splitting and sprinkling over food :)

Can the capsules be given whole. I have a fussy eater but giving pills is no problem.
Yes, the capsules are made from gelatin so they are digestible.

Hi. I have a cat who is a year old. He has bad confirmation in that his back leg joints nearly touch. He sometimes struggles to jump up and has been to vet and had mild hip pain. Just looking for something to give him a boost.
Your cat might well benefit from Yumove. Usually it has to be given for a few weeks before any improvement is evident. It is worth asking your vet if joint supplements might be of benefit, though any conformational defect can result in joint discomfort in time, so this sounds like a sensible measure to take.
