Beaphar Flea & Tick Collar for Dogs contains the insecticide dimpylate that kills fleas & ticks on your dog and prevents their return for up to four months.
The brown collar is easy to fit and can be adjusted for comfort.

When tackling a flea problem, in addition to treating your pet, for best results use a household insecticide, such as Beaphar FLEAtec Household Flea Spray or Beaphar Household Flea Fogger for your home.
Key Benefits
The collar is 65cm long and will fit most dogs. Simply slide the free end through the buckle, and tighten to give a comfortable fit. Cut off any excess collar with scissors and throw it away with your domestic rubbish. If fitted to a fully grown dog, allow enough space for 2 fingers to be inserted between the collar and neck. If fitted to a growing dog, remember to loosen the collar as the dog gets bigger. For continuous protection, fit a new Beaphar Flea & Tick Collar for Dogs every four months.

Hi I have been using this product on my dogs but they still have fleas. I need to use a spot on treatment but need to know how long is required between removing the collar and starting a new product?
Hi Hazel,
You can apply a spot-on at any time. The collar contains the active ingredient dimpylate, which is not the same active ingredient found in spot-ons, so you can use the two together.

These products have very different active ingredients and it should be safe and effective to do as you suggest, though ticks are particularly difficult to control, whatever you use.
