For many years we have been lucky to be living with wonderful Westies. All have been fed with Burns products following a recommendation to use Burns when one of our first Westies suffered with allergies leading to skin problems. Since then it has always been Burns and our current Westie, who is now four, enjoys Fish and Brown Rice Adult and Senior Dog Food.

Recently changed from Chicken/lamb with brown rice as my dog wouldn’t eat it (even though he’s been on this for over 10 years)After checking with Burns they advised they changed manufacturer , after trying various burns products it seemed he liked this one the best.

Is burns dry dog food good for a dog with pancreatitis or is the sensitive dry better
You want to aim for a low fat diet with pancreatits. This diet is 7.5% fat which is relatively low. I recommend contacting your vet though to discuss the diet, they may recommend a low fat veterinary diet that would be more suitable.
In answer to yoru question, both diets have the same listed fat content of 7.5% so one would not be considered better than the other when taking into account the pancreatitis alone.
